Hi Today I am writing to you guys in English, because even though it is not our main language we can understand every word. Today I write this so that everyone can understand what’s happening in our home. I write this so that the people who don’t speak Spanish can understand and can stand with us. Our island, our beautiful island has been infected with an awful desease called corruption. A decease for which we have fought for years to stop but we haven’t been able to. Our voices have been silenced so many times by the government. Our capabilities have been underrated far too many times as well. This time, we’ve had enough, this time we fight against a man who has been destroying our beloved island ever since he was elected governor and even before that when his father was governor too. Hola hola, les cuento que por fin acabé con mi clase de verano y tan pronto acabó, nos montamos en un avión y partimos a Ecuador. Fue un viaje larguísimo y visitamos muchísimas provincias, de cada una aprendí algo diferente. Conocí a personas increíbles las cuales llevaré por siempre en mi corazón. Hoy les quiero contar un poco acerca de una de las personitas de mi viaje, que aunque no llegué a conocer, me regalo una de las experiencias más hermosas que pude haber tenido.
